The 31th International ARENA Waterpolotournament is coming!!

In the weekend of  2, 3 & 4 July 2010 "Moby Dick" from Schoonebeek (in the North-East of the Netherlands) organizes their 31st International Waterpolo tournament, powered by ARENA, one of the biggest tournaments held in the Netherlands.

More than 1000 Waterpolo players from different countries compete eachother in our beautiful open air Swimming Pool "De Zandpol" in Schoonebeek.

Especially the party element is very important to this tournament an that´s why all these waterpolo players keep coming to us every year. The friendly and good atmosphere, Live music at Friday- and Saturday evening, and Waterpolo from the lowest level up to the highest level played in the Netherlands have proven to be a unique combination for a succesfull tournament.

About 100 teams devided in about 10 men poules and 4 women poules from the highest to the lowest level play together on 6 different fields, starting Saturday morning 10.00 a.m. up to Sunday afternoon 2.00 p.m.

Most of the teams are coming on the Friday evening for the friday-party with live music and lots of fun.

The participating teams can bring your own tents and stay at the campsite situated next to the swimming pool (camping allowed from friday 3.00 pm).

At Saturday night there's a huge party (again "Live" music) in the party tent near the pool site. Imagine over 1000 Waterpolo friends partying with live music.

If you are interested in visiting our tournament or have questions (f.e. about the level) please mail the tournament committee or fill out the application form and send it to us.

The costs for participating are € 75,= for each team. We also charge € 50,= for each club as a deposit for cleaning up the camping space.
